Why The "Cash Me Ousside" Girl Needs To Stop

She's giving millennials a bad name and is setting a poor example for the younger generation.

Why The "Cash Me Ousside" Girl Needs To Stop
Dr. Phil

So we all know about Danielle Bregoli. She came on the Dr. Phil show last September. You may know her as the "cash me ousside how bout dat" girl.

It was funny in the beginning, but now? She's just getting on my nerves. She is the most disrespectful and self centered human being there is. If I talked to my mom the way she talks to hers, I probably wouldn't have any teeth right now. Believe me, there have been some times where that almost did happen. If I stole cars, I'd be in jail right now. She even ADMITTED to it. Yet, she's making thousands of dollars now and has her own shop.

This girl needs a major ass whooping. Sure. She had a few months in treatment that Dr. Phil paid for. When she came out, she was instantly famous which probably brought her self centered, disrespectful attitude back. This makes me wonder something. At what point in time did our population become so desperate for entertainment and humor that they made someone famous for having an attitude that would have probably got her shot 100 or so years ago.

She's no better than the Kardashians. They got famous for basically nothing.

She's giving millennials a bad name as well. I was born in 1996, so I fall under that category. When someone hears the term "millennial" it is generally used in a negative way. Not all millennials think they're entitled to something, or that the world owes them something. I am a very hard working young woman. I work for everything I have. This macbook I'm writing this article on? I'm paying for it. The truck I have? Paying for it. Insurance? Paying for that too. Oh, and guess what! I'M EVEN PAYING MY OWN CELL BILL.

However, because of people like Ms. Bregoli, I am defaultly put into that category of "millennials" because I was born in that time era and I am 20 years old.

I am stereotyped as someone who is entitled. I am stereotyped as someone who is lazy. I am stereotyped as someone who thinks that the world owes them something.

Honestly? I don't even know why people find her behavior to be acceptable. It isn't funny, it isn't cute, and quite frankly it needs to stop. This is what we are teaching our younger generation. They are thinking that this kind of behavior is ok, when it isn't. The reason millennials have such a bad name is because some, not all, but some parents don't care. Some parents don't discipline. Some parents are the "party parents." Some parents don't act that much better than their kids!

She isn't funny. Her meme's aren't funny. And using her meme's isn't funny. Set a better example for those around you. Let's raise a generation who treats people with respect and gives back to the community rather than expecting the community to give to them.

I'm not saying that she is the ONLY reason that millennials like myself have a bad rep, but she is one of many.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
