Farrah Abraham seems to always be in the tabloids for some scandalous thing going on in her life, whether it is she is making a porno, getting many plastic surgeries, or creating her own line of sex toys. But most recently she is under heat for something totally different: her dog, Posh, is pregnant. She recently posted the announcement on Instagram and with that came some support — but mostly criticism. Fans were enraged that she did not just adopt a dog from a shelter, but instead decided to “shop.”

Adopt don’t shop. Many feel this is the way that people need to do in order to get a furry friend in their homes. Yet some fail to remember that sometimes when you are shopping at pet stores you are saving that animal as well. They most likely come from puppy mills and could be sold back to another puppy mill. Yeah, I completely understand and totally agree with needing to adopt from a shelter. But every animal in a shelter or store needs a home. So why can’t we all just open our homes to animals in need and give them the unconditional love they deserve?

I understand that Farrah has made a mistake by breeding her dog, but she could have done something a lot worse. I know that breeding her dog is a huge ordeal in some views, but I feel like there are bigger issues that people should focus on rather than a dog having a baby. Yet this is what society tends to blow up, making this minuscule thing into a giant catastrophe. Farrah Abraham does not have the best reputation by any means. Yet, she is just doing her thing as an individual. Just like everyone else should be doing.

I guess when it comes down to it people will always have something negative to say about other people’s business. There will always be that person or select group who are just going to say negative things about something just to be mean. Who cares what Farrah does or doesn’t do with her life. Just because she is on TV and is a known name in this world, doesn’t mean people need to have a comment for everything. She wanted another puppy and would rather see to it that her puppy came from her own dog. Big whoop. People need to go deal with their own home life issues and leave others be.
