This past week has been hellish when it came down to the weather. If you live in Long Beach or in Los Angeles, you know what I'm talking about. To make matters worse, this week also happened to be the first week of school.
There's so many factors that make this heatwave increasingly annoying for women who attend CSULB. From trying to look presentable and staying cool while still looking classy—it's more difficult then you would think.
Below is a list every 49er girl can empathize with.
1. It's too hot to concentrate! Seriously, some classrooms, especially on upper campus, tend to be lacking in their air conditioning. I pay thousands per year, and I also only have 15 minutes to get from engineering to LA1. Give me a break (or working AC at the very least), please.
3. The heat is melting my "face" off.
4. Going outside drains the life out of you! The heat is exhausting!
4. If you live in the dorms or don't have AC, sleep is extremely uncomfortable!
5. WHAT TO EAT!? Why does everything sound too hot? Ice cream is life.
