Build the wall and pass the ban.
It's not a right to live in the United States.
It's a privilege.
But we're not privileged, we've worked hard.
Our fortune is the fruit of our efforts.
Our parents, who first put that fruit on our tables, slaved to get it there.
They are the living proof of the American Dream.
Though once, they too fled oppression by boat, traversing the Atlantic, and seeking refuge in the land of opportunity.
They too built their success from nothing; it must be protected.
Defend it from the evils that may lie across that very same Atlantic.
And condemn those dealt the weaker hand.
Sure they've faced trials, but so have we.
They could have gotten a job, or even two.
Don’t drain our wallets to feed their children.
They shouldn’t have had them if they couldn’t pay.
But providing family planning costs more, because it’s our wallets.
Our 23 cents a year are not theirs to have.
So don’t ask us to fund their prevention or their responsible termination.
Make them see it through.
Life begins at conception.
Life must be protected.
Because born or unborn, all lives matter.
We’re all the same; we see no color.
Except if it’s blue; we see blue.
Blue suits are the true badge of honor, and even sometimes, a token of immunity.
So show them respect, and behave.
Obey, and you’ll be fine.
It’s the American way, and it has been since before 1965.
If you don’t like it, get out.
We are not the victims.
We are the champions: we're winning again.
We own our choices, and speak for our mistakes.
Except when we fund our ideologies and interests abroad.
If our mistakes condemn the world, plaguing it with terror, those mistakes are the result of radical faith.
A faith not welcomed here.
It is un-American, so keep it out.
They wish death upon us; they scream it, even.
But when we pay attention, the only screams we seem to hear are the ones of our children, as the gun is pointed at their heads.
When the finger pulls the trigger, it's simply executing its second amendment rights, and with it, a school cafeteria.
But hey, don’t blame the gun, people kill people.
Blame the boy, the “loner.”
He was unstable and sick.
So get him the treatment he needs, but not on our dollar.
It’s not the government’s job to support the masses, even the ones huddled, yearning to breathe free.
Besides, D.C. has no place in our healthcare.
It’s our choice.
But sometimes, choice is a sin, and for that we cannot stand.
Our country was based on Christian faith; don’t you dare start a war against it, even as we declare one against yours.
Because with it, we once built the greatest country on earth.
But we couldn’t have built America alone.
We needed the backs of her real natives.
It spells an unflattering sentence in history books; yet remains the story we omit at bedtime.
But we’ve made amends; we gave them land.
Who's to blame then, if big business needs that same space for its pipes?
So fine, water is life, but water can also be bought in bottles.
Just like in Flint.
Tell me, how long does four years last, when faucets run dry?
Will the next four feel longer?
But we'll be okay, as long as we preserve capitalism.
America doesn't subscribe to communist ideas; we're a free trade society.
But replace corporate tax with an import tax, and let funds trickle down like a dry waterfall in a summer drought.
Let the powerful and rich steer the boat we all share.
Let them command the captain, and let them do it from the comfort of first class.
While we fight for scraps on the lower decks.
But hey, that's democracy.
It's interesting, then, that we, the people chose a comrade to run ours.
Putin's no fool, but neither was Lenin: now both sit in the oval.
So close our borders, and keep us safe.
In true American spirit, build that wall.
And while we're at it, build an iron bubble.
We'll need protection from the sky, too.
For now, we watch as the world arms its weapons.
Remember that even we are not immune to the mushroom cloud we've spread in years past.
But if catastrophe ensues, and chaos wins reign, at least we’ll say we held true to our values; our American values.
The ones that we defined hundreds of years ago, and the ones that make America the greatest country in the world.
