Bubble Bump: Soccer With A Twist

We've always had the Europeans to thank for keeping our love for soccer fresh and alive. Let's be real, Americans just don't use their feet as beautifully as the Europeans do. Now, thanks to Norway, a recent revolution in the sport has travelled across the globe and is fast-growing in America. Luckily for you college students, Kappa Delta at FSU is offering the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to experience this revolution known as Bubble Bump soccer.

Behold, you savage, destructive frat boys, the art of bubble bump soccer. Not only does this innovative game allow you to keep the tradition of scoring sick goals, but you get to plow others down while enclosed in a plastic blowup bubble suit. What could be better? As for the girls, don't fret, it's practically harmless. Getting smashed by an opponent feels equivalent to falling into a pool of marshmallows. This is the type of game that might be more fun to watch than to actually play. Check out the video below for a little preview:

Props to Kappa Delta for such originality! This philanthropy will take place on Sunday, November 9th at FSU's new IM fields (subject to change). The tournament will consist of various fraternity and sorority teams battling it out to be named the first ever Kappa Delta Bubble Bump Champions. To reward fun with generosity, all proceeds will benefit one of KD's charity of choice: The Children's Home Society of Tallahassee. Save the date, and your energy, and start prepping for Greek Life's most epic philanthropic event in FSU's history, "Bump it like BecKhΔm."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
