If there is one single thing that most of the population on this planet has, it's exes. We either love to hate them, hate to love them, or simply try to get them out of our minds. Whether they were official boyfriends, girlfriends, someone you were "together" with, or a prolonged hook up – it all leaves us relatively with the same outcome: war stories. Of course, no relationship is 100% alike to another.

After a breakup, it is fairly common to be feeling more than just one single emotion at once. We can feel happy and sad at the same time, angry and revengeful, hurt and positive, lonely and confined, lost and revived. It's often hard to cope with the loss of someone who was so prominent in your life; but no matter how the relationship ended there's a song that will inevitably hit home. Here are songs of several genres that describe every type of ex and is a true tell that you're not the only one feeling as you do, or did...

Thinking Of You: Ke$ha

The ultimate sweet but ever so prevalent "screw you" to the cheater or liar.

I Look So Good Without You: Jesse James Decker

Being caught in a relationship that you base every decision on can leave you feeling more independent and beautiful than you did trapped in that dismissive atmosphere and world you were so used to.

It Is What It Is: Kacey Musgraves

Intentional or simply subliminally, there are some people you just gravitate back to every time, you continue it and leave it as it is until your time together has passed it's expiration date.

The Heart Wants What it Wants: Selena Gomez

We may never be able to understand why we chose someone that can be so toxic, or just wrong for us; but that's just how the world works. There's not always and explanation why we love who we love, and why we go to the bad boys or bad girls. But they sure hook you longer than you'd like to be.

Swinging Door: Edens Edge

To the people who believe you're their swingin' door – close it on their face.

Title: Meghan Trainor

Just because you didn't get a title, or tried to get one doesn't mean that the time spent together wasn't real.

This Is Gospel: Panic at the Disco

Sometimes, you just weren't made for one another.

Too Little Too Late: Jojo

You don't love somebody until they don't love you, and when your person realizes this, they have moved on. You can't rewrite your history by trying once it's all crashed and failed.

What The Hell: Avril Lavegne

You can only pretend to be someone for so long with someone – they will rebel if it's you've held on to them too long. Maybe it's personal, but it mostly isn't.

Your Side Of Town: Maddie and Tae

There are some breakups that are more than messy. These are the type you want distance in between, it's a large world which means it should be easy to keep away. Or at least they need to get the hint to.

Games: Luke Bryan

In a relationship or not, players like games, but there has be a coach somewhere around to set them straight until they quit, or cut them from your life.

Half Broke Heart: Cam

There's always that one person in your past that had an excuse for everything. But just because it seems valid, doesn't make it any less effecting to your relationship, or less hurtful.

Hello: Adele

Sometimes, it's not the fault of the ex, but something that you did. You tried to set things right or just cut it off, whichever seemed like the best idea. But you didn't forget about them, even when they did exactly as you wanted and they forgot about you.

Stitches: Shawn Mendez

The worst type of ex, is the unexpected one. The one you thought that you had more time with. The one that you couldn't see ending when you were so deeply involved. It was the one that hurt you the most, but it's the one that also leaves you that bad a** scar you heal around.

Sorry: Justin Bieber

There is always that one ex who comes back around, and sometimes JBiebs – it is too late.

Undo it: Carrie Underwood

You fell for the wrong person, the one you knew was untouchable, the one you knew would hurt you the most in the end. But you still did it. They ended up being the one and only regret you had, you may have wanted them at one point, but now you wish you could go back in time and erase this person from ever possibly becoming an ex.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
