I hear a lot about how parent's don't let certain things happen because they don't trust their child and their boyfriend/girlfriend. I'm extremely lucky that both our parents trust us. I feel honored that we were raised right and our parents are able to put their faith in us.

I can come to you and tell you anything. Whether it's school, friends, family, even your son, you let me vent and talk to you about it all. It's really nice to know that I always have you to turn too.

I love that you call me your daughter. You're like a second mom to me. I'm so grateful that you and his dad have let me become part of your family. That you make meals I love, or get me gifts or blowing up my favorite floaty for the pool or just small things like a compliment. It means the world to me. You make me feel welcomed in your house and like your house is mine. Thank you for all the things you have done for me and will do for me.

Thank you for raising your son right.

I am told all the time about how a girl "wishes she had a Nick". That's not on me, that's on you. Because of you and his dad, he knows how to be the best boyfriend. He makes me so so happy. The love I get from him, I can't put into words. I trust him with all of my being and that's because of how you raised him. I couldn't thank you both enough for raising your son to be the best person I know. Also thanks for having amazing genes and making a gorgeous son that I get to stare at all the time!!

You are so incredible. Everything that you have pushed through in your life astonishes me. I'm obsessed with hearing stories about your past. What you teach me is lessons I won't ever forget. I hope I hear every story you have to tell.

It's actually a little crazy how much we're alike. Whether we're referring to girls, our relationships, boys, TV shows, our dogs- you understand everything I'm saying and where I'm coming from. Even if you're not agreeing with me, you still understand and listen to what I'm saying. Even if all I need is a hug to cry, you get it. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Honestly, I couldn't thank you and his dad enough for everything your son's and I's relationship has brought me. You are one of my best friends and someone I love very very much.
