Growing up with two brothers is interesting and fun to say the least. I truly did love growing up with my older brothers; however, there was always a part of me that wanted some sisters too. You know someone to talk to and do girl stuff with! Instead of sisters, I turned to my friends for this, which was great and fun to have girl friends for those things. However, nothing could compare to the feeling and relationships I gained from having sisters-in-law. It was genuinely as if a prayer had been answered or a wish of mine had come true. Having sister-in-laws has changed my life for the better.

When both of my brothers found these girls, I was over the moon! I had never been so excited in my life. First of all, these girls were PERFECT for my brothers in every way. They were fun, hilarious, GORGEOUS, and kind. Little eighth grade me was ecstatic when they started dating them. Then when they both got engaged, I was so happy for them. Not only were my brothers marrying the women of their dreams, but I was gaining two older sisters. I was getting something I always wanted. They also fit very well into our family, which is another blessing. I cannot imagine life without them.

Now to my sisters in law, you both are the best sisters I could have ever asked for or been given. I am so thankful that you met my brothers and became apart of our family. I love all the memories I have made with both of you. I love and appreciate you both stepping in all throughout high school to help me get ready for dances. Lord knows I would have looked like a drowned rat without both of your help throughout those years. Thank you for all the advice you all would give me if I ever talked to you about anything serious. I appreciate doing nails with y'all. I appreciate all the car rides. I am thankful for the many moments of laughter you have brought over the years. Most of all, I am thankful for the opportunity to have a sister that you both have given me, I am so happy you both are in my lives. I look up to you both so much. I hope to be like you guys one day. I love you guys.

I do not know how I survived so long without sisters. I am glad I have them now though.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
