Boys suck, but that doesn't stop girls from still crushing on them. They're dreamy. They're cute. They're charming. Boys will cast you under their spell and it's inevitable. When it happens to your best friend, you do your duties and go through the whole process with her. You're both in this together now.

1. You get the standard "So there's a guy" text

When you get that text, you already know you're about to get the whole breakdown about this new guy. Like, are you really best friends when you don't get the exclusive details?

2. You do some CIA level research on the new boy

That's what friends are for! A little (too much) investigating doesn't hurt. You need to make sure your BFF is in good hands.

3. You get screenshots of every text between your homegirl and her new boy

You know you're living vicariously through her. If she's excited, you're more excited; if she's mad, you're already on your way to raise hell.

4. You orchestrate the perfect replies for her to use

Sometimes you just can't leave your girl unsupervised. She needs your guidance and expertise to keep her from being in shambles.

5. You get more salty than her when she tells you that she hasn't heard from the boy

THAT IDIOT! How dare he? Who gave him the right? He does not deserve your friend, am I right?

6. You brainstorm the pettiest ideas for getting even

He better watch out because you are the queen of pettiness and he messed with the wrong girl.

7. You (sort of but not really) approve of him when he's being good to her again

Alright, alright. So, he's back to being Prince Charming again. It's all good. He's good. She's good. You're good. We're good!

8. You hype your best friend up when she starts to feel discouraged and hopeless

When she starts feeling a little down and thinks it's not actually going to work out, you gotta step up and give her some words of wisdom. Just a little push and she'll be feeling herself in no time.

9. You take part in her thirst-trap snaps

You know, those infamous snap baits. Every selfie goes through a process. Find the right angle. Make the appropriate face. Use the perfect filter. To caption or not to caption.

10. You either FaceTime her right away or hang out with her after she chills with him

I mean, you are THE best friend, so it is only right that you get every detail about their date. Gotta have all the deetz before you two start your whole analysis on how things will play out.

11. You get more information, so you start analyzing things for your best friend

One plus one equals three because you just found a whole new piece of information.

12. You find out right away who the mystery girl he posted on his social media

At first, you both freak out because, uh, why is there another girl? Who is she? WHAT is she? But, with your talent, you find out she's just a friend and she has her very own boyfriend, so it's all good again!

13. You meet him and personally judge him to make sure you and your best friend know what you're dealing with

Is he worth it? Is he really that cute? Is he actually nice or is he faking it? What is he wearing? Why does he keep doing that? Is he good?

As Hannah Montana once said about boys: "Can't live with them but can't live without them." She was pretty darn right. We may hate boys from time to time, but we could never just give them up for good. When your best friend introduces a new guy, you fully support her and suffer with her.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
