The Best 8 Workout Spots That Will Actually Motivate You To Workout

Sometimes I wake up and I have absolutely no motivation to go work out. Everyone has been there, and knows the feeling of not wanting to leave your bed. But these places are on my list of workouts I actually enjoy doing (crazy, right) or places I've heard from friends that they cannot get enough of.

1. Soul Cycle

Everyone and their mother knows about Soul Cycle by now, but they have such fun cycling classes and the music is the best – to be perfectly honest.

2. Flywheel

OK, so it's pretty similar to Soul Cycle, but you can watch your "score" on the screen and see where you rank in comparison with the rest of the class which is pretty cool. They also have a barre class that I personally love more than most of the other classes I've tried.

3. Yoga Spark

I have grown to love Bikram yoga, and Yoga Spark is so much fun – especially their night time candlelit class where they dim the lights and use little candles to light the room

4. Orange Theory

I personally haven't had the chance to try this spot, but my friend raves about it so it must be great, right? It's literally next on my places that I want to go so I guess we will see what happens when I finally get the chance to try it out!

5. Equinox

I joined the gym this summer while I'm home and the classes are so fun. I really want to try the treadmill classes – I've heard they are similar to Orange Theory! The gym itself is awesome too and literally always crowded.

6. Bikram Yoga Rye Brook

I know, another Bikram class, but this one is different. Their HIIT Pilates class is in the hot room and is SO hard. I literally sweat so much and feel so good afterwards.

7. The Tracy Anderson Method

This is another one I have yet to try, but my mom told me about it and the classes sound so interesting, especially how the exercises in the classes change each week so you can't get bored. Classes are mainly in New York City, and I know there are hundreds of other options once you hit Manhattan, but this sounded cool and is definitely a hit with the celebrity crowds.

8. My basement

Yes, I know this is not a workout class, but some days when I have no motivation or it's a rainy day and I don't want to head out, my basement gym is the next best thing. I can just walk downstairs and accomplish a workout in the comfort of my own house. I also love being able to blast my own music and just do what I want that day instead of following instructions in a class.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
