Fall. A time when the scenery becomes just as breathtaking as the cool mornings. A time when the leaves change colors and fall to the ground. A time when football season has officially begun. A time when you can drag those cute boots out of the back of your closet and strut your stuff.
Fall is hands down the best season of them all. It is a time when bon fires become the most relaxing. It is not too hot out to sit by the fire and it's definitely not too cold. It is just right. The crisp fall breeze makes sure you stay near that fire to keep you warm but the actual temperature outside makes sure you know it's not quite winter just yet.
The surrounding scenery is by far the most beautiful during the autumn. Red, yellow, brown and green leaves all falling slowly and traveling in the wind. Little kids go outside and rake the leaves with their dads so they can jump into the big pile because after all, playing in the leaves is second best to playing in the snow.
Football season. There is not much more that needs to be said. This is the time when all of the football parties start to occur and when buffalo chicken dip becomes dinner every Sunday night for the game. There is nobody in their right mind that is going to complain about this because who doesn't like football and who doesn't like buffalo chicken dip? Those people simply can not be trusted.
Don't even get me started on the boots. Snow boots, riding boots, duck boots, rain boots, fancy boots, boots with the heel that you can barely walk in but they're cute as hell so you're gonna wear them anyway, Ugg boots and all of the other boots that I can finally dig out of the back of my closet and finally put on. The cutest outfits always happen in the fall. I can't help but to think it's because of the boots that we can finally wear with our cute outfits.
Fall is by far the greatest season of them all. Sure, it is sad that summer is coming to an end but it is seasons like this one that help us to appreciate the hot summer sun. As for now though, it is almost time to curl up with a blanket infront of the wood burner and take a nap before some Sunday night football.
