Tired of Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks? Want to get off of campus for the day? Check out these local Tampa Bay Coffee houses to fulfill your caffeine cravings.
Mojo Books and Records
Located across from USF, Mojo Books and Records, offers a diverse and relaxing environment to study on or browse between classes. Selling used records and books, Mojo Records also has coffee and tea that beats Starbucks every day. All coffees and teas are made in house from scratch from local Tampa Bay roasters. Oh and did I mention they’re vegan friendly!
Felicitous
New to the USF area is Felicitous, located on 51st St. in a converted bungalow. Filled with thrifted furniture, board games, art, and a wide selection of teas and coffee Felicitous has a lot to offer for only being open for just a few years. Beyond the great environment and food, going to Felicitous actually supports a former University of South Florida student whose dream was to create a local hang out spot for students. Come in to study or spot in on the last Wednesday of every month for open mic night to hear local poets, writers and musicians.
