Christmas is an amazing time to celebrate the holidays while it's also a time to receive the best gifts. Here are three of the best gifts any kid would love. I know all of these are on my wish list.

Perler Beads

I recently realized my love for perler beads at a Winter Carnival at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. It's a great way to show your artsy side and make awesome projects. You won't be bored over Christmas break with these around!

Bear from Costco

I think this one is probably on every kid's wish-list. That 93 inch bear is the most popular stuffed animal. I could use one of those to cuddle with too :D.

Ornament Balls

What's better than DIY ornament balls? Not only do you get to decorate and create your own masterpiece, but you also get to hang it upon your Christmas tree to show off to everyone.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots.
