To my best friends,
Thank you for being the only real entertainment of my life. I really wonder what my life would be like if you guys were not a part it.
I can remember when I made my first friend in preschool, and I did not know really how to be a friend. As years passed, I learned many things about what a real friend is. Real friends are loving, honest, true, loyal, funny, sarcastic, vulgar, and just downright weird as hell. I can honestly say that you all are just that and so much more.
When it comes down to it, you guys are all I have and all I really need in my life. I have never laughed or cried so much with anyone but you lovely ladies. You are all beautiful on the inside and out, but let's not forget how weird and goofy you all are. I am sitting here writing this letter to you as you are all watching a hysterical video of us at some party and calling people weird chickens. There is never a dull moment between us... seriously. If I could get into all the intense conversations we have had in the last four years I have known you guys, I would be writing for days, and it is probably too inappropriate.
It has only been four years since I have known the seven of you lovely ladies, and the fun we are having has only just begun. We may all live different lives and have different career paths, but I know in the end, we are all still going to be texting in that insane group chat that I just want to put on silent sometimes! I swear, this group chat has become my alarm in the morning; it's a love-hate relationship, but I deal!
Anyway, thank you for being one of the reasons I smile every day. Thank you for being the reason I pee my pants a little when I am laughing too hard at something. Endless apps at Applebee's will never get old, and sitting around the table zooming in on people's faces will never not make me laugh or feel slightly terrible for making fun of someone's face. We are probably the best group that anyone would want to be around. Who would not want to see me strut my stuff across the crosswalk in center city? I know you ladies got that on Snapchat that night, and I will eventually be famous for it!
From breakups to dates, movie nights, weird chickens, taking a million selfies every time we are together, saying we are ugly when we really aren't, and laughing at absolutely everything, I really am so glad to call you goofs my best friends. Growing up and going through the challenges of life really wouldn't be the same if I did not have you guys. I cannot wait to experience the rest of my life and having you all by my side. Thank you all for being the ones who make me laugh a little louder, smile a little brighter, and live a little better.
Love,
Jessica DiProspero
