7 Food Instagrams To Satisfy All Your Cravings

Food Instagrams have become super popular, and with good reason. People are coming up with so many different types of food, from stretchy ice cream to outrageous milkshakes and pizza topped with mini slices of pizza. I love looking through all the different food accounts on Instagram, and my suggested feed is filled with different types of food. Most of the places I see aren't close enough to go to, but seeing the different creations people come up with is so cool. For some people, their food Instagrams have become a business- they actually get sponsored by different restaurants to post about food. Below are seven of my favorite food Instagrams.

Yes, there are five e's in the username. This account has a whopping 378k followers and reposts food from different restaurants all around NYC. If you're traveling there and looking for something good to eat, this is the account to check out.

There are foods from all over NYC and DC on this account! The owner of the account even got to try a bunch of cupcakes from Sprinkles and posted photos of all the different varieties. I've been following her for awhile and she is always posting up good eats.

This Connecticut diner make outrageous pancakes and shakes! They have a bunch of different combinations, but this picture really speaks for itself. If you like reading menus, they story their specials at night, so you get a glimpse of what is new.

Brownstone Pancake Factory is in Edgewater, New Jersey and it is the one place on this list that I've actually been to. Their milkshakes look just as outrageous in person. They do different seasonal and weekly specials, so there is also a new milkshake post to look at. Above is their featured Ultimate Insane Milkshake from the week of September 17th- Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake.

@districtdelicious

This account is run by two friends who met in college, and they always have interesting captions. They post a lot and sometimes will do Q and As on their story!

@thescranline

My best friend just showed me this account, and I am so glad she did because the guy who runs it makes the coolest desserts AND post the recipes for them. I'm not sure if I'd be able to pull off making this cactus cupcake, but it's definitely going to be inspiration for my next baking project.

Whether you actually want to go to some cool food places or you just like seeing pictures of different creations, definitely give these accounts a follow. If you still aren't sold, look at the pictures again- they speak for themselves.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
