Every once in a while, a movie will come on TV that I've seen at least ten times growing up. Even though I know some of these word for word, they are still enjoyable to watch. The following is a list of some of my favorite childhood movies, in no particular order, that will never get old.
1. "Elf"
Will Ferrell plays Buddy the Elf who tries to reconnect with his father in New York City.
2. "The Parent Trap"
Lindsey Lohan plays twin sisters who meet at a summer camp for the first time, and hatch a plan to reunite their parents.
3. "The Sandlot"
"Smalls" makes new friends with a group of boys who play baseball in the local sandlot and creates a very fun and memorable summer.
4. "High School Musical"
No matter how many years have passed, the songs are still deeply engrained in your memory.
5. "Toy Story 3"
The finale of the "Toy Story" movies is definitely a tearjerker as Andy prepares to leave for college.

You can never go wrong with choosing to watch any of the "Harry Potter" movies.
7. "Matilda"
"Matilda" is a girl who discovers her own magical powers and immediately puts them to use.
8. "Mulan"
This classic Disney movie tells the story of "Mulan"; a girl who disguises herself as a boy in order to fight for her country.
9. "Back to the Future"
It is interesting to watch the "Back to the Future" movies now since the "future" in the movie has already passed.
10. "Finding Nemo"
"Finding Nemo" was so widely enjoyed that they are making a sequel thirteen years later!
11. "Fantasia"
"Fantasia" is one of Disney's most unique movies, as it is a series of several short stories all set to classical music.
12. "Coraline"
"Coraline" is definitely one of the most unsettling, yet interesting movies I saw as a kid.
13. "A Series of Unfortunate Events"
"A Series of Unfortunate Events" combines the first three books into one great movie! These stories were also so popular, it will be turned into a Netflix series soon!

All of the Peanuts movies are fun to watch around the holidays, but "It's The Easter Beagle Charlie Brown" is definitely my favorite.

"Howl's Moving Castle" is an anime movie, and was so beautifully crafted it is even on the IMDb top 250 movie list.
16. "Freaky Friday"
"Freaky Friday" tells the story of a mother and daughter who were forced to literally walk in each other's shoes for a day.
17. "The Princess Diaries"
"Princess Diaries" is about Anne Hathaway's transformation from an unpopular schoolgirl to a princess of Genovia.
18. "Mr. Bean's Holiday"
"Mr. Bean's Holiday" is one of the strangest, yet funniest movies I watched growing up.

"The Goonies" is an exciting adventure of a group of friends who discover a treasure map.
20. "A Christmas Story"
Last but not least, "A Christmas Story" will always be the best Christmas movie.
