shoes under your feet

a meal to eat when you're hungry

a bed to fall asleep in at night

a loving and supportive family

a home away from home

a circle of people that are there for you and love and support you unconditionally

people you can confide in

friends you don't hear from regularly but are always in your heart

friends you pick up with exactly where you left off

music to express the words that you can't

books with words beautifully strung together to communicate any and every feeling

the ability to laugh

the ability to laugh until you cry and your stomach hurts

having people that make you do so

this life, even if it's hard sometimes

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
