Fall is finally here. If you are #Basic, then you know that fall is your #fav season. Your Instagram will soon be flooded with all of the #Basic girl’s faves.

1. Pumpkin spice everything!

If you are a girl who does not like pumpkin spice, then you are not #Basic. A proper #Basic girl knows exactly when pumpkin spice comes out and keeps it marked on their calendar. Super #Basic girls in fall will drink their pumpkin spice out of a Starbucks cup but Dunkin’ cups are just as #Basic.

2. Leggings and Uggs.

There is so much to enjoy about fall, so why waste time worrying about picking out an outfit? Any #Basic girl who loves fall would rather wear leggings and Uggs so that they can be outside sipping their pumpkin spice latte looking at all of the pretty colors. Not only is leggings and Uggs extremely comfortable, it is cute at the same time. A perfect win/win for any #Basic girl who’s #fav season is fall.

3. Adorable sweaters.

Of course you are going to wear something on top of your leggings and Uggs so you are not walking around topless. The number one top that a #Basic girl who’s #fav season is fall wears is a sweater. The bulkier the sweater, the better it is. Sweaters are perfect to wear to dress up leggings and Uggs or they can also be super casual. Even short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve sweaters are amazing and a #Basic fall girl most definitely has more than a couple in her closet ready to make their fall appearance.

4. Boots. Boots. Boots.

Although leggings and Uggs are super comfy, when a #Basic girl wants to dress up in the fall, the perfect addition is boots. Whether they are ankle booties, over the knee, chunky heel, or any other type, boots are a fall must for any #Basic girl. Plus, if you are wearing a super cute sweater, why not be fancy and put some cute boots on over your leggings.

5. Fashionable scarves.

A super cute scarf is the perfect addition to a #Basic girl’s fall wardrobe. If you bought an expensive cute one, or if your grandmother made it, a scarf is perfect. Infinity scarves and normal scarves help to take a fall outfit from drab to fab! If you don’t have a lot of room for scarves, then get a big, chunky, tan one and it can go with so many outfits.

6. Great holidays.

Now that you get to wear super cute outfits, you need to show them off. Besides posting them all over your Instagram and Visco, you need to wear them to parties. Besides Halloween where you basically get to dress like a slut without actually being one, Thanksgiving is different. Thanksgiving gives you a chance to strut your fav outfit…just make sure it isn't tight so you can eat a lot of food.

7. Fun fall activities.

Another chance to get a perfect Instagram pic is to wear one of your super cute outfits while doing #Basic girl activities. Go apple picking and take a cute pic of you with all of the apples. Hay rides are the perfect opportunity to bond with your bestie while drinking your pumpkin spice lattes on your way to pick pumpkins.

Sadly, the #fav season for #Basic girls cannot last forever. Soon, December will come and so will the cold. Even though #Basic girls are sad to see their #fav season leave, it just means it is time for North Faces, leggings, and Uggs!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
