I Am Not A Bandwagon Fan, Get Off My Back

I am not a bandwagon fan.

I was there for the San Francisco Giants before the 2002 World Series appearance.

I was there for the Golden State Warriors before they won an NBA title.

I have always cheered for the Patriots.

What I am saying is, I don’t jump ship.

It just so happens that my teams have been successful in recent years. So, why is my loyalty questioned? Is it because I am a girl? Is it because I can’t name stupid statistics? But really, who can name those facts off the top of their head?

You can find me streaming the games when I am not in front of a TV. I’ve experienced the bad seasons. It is heartbreaking. I don’t have more than one favorite team in a single sport. I am loyal. We are a unit.

So, don’t question me or identify me as a bandwagon fan. I have logical reasoning behind why each team is my team. I don’t have excuses.
