Bama Vs. Texas A&M Recap

I really should not have to say much about the Alabama vs. Texas A&M game. What a beat down. I would be so incredibly embarrassed to be an Aggie fan, student, or alumni. 59-0? Texas A&M couldĀ not even score one point. Even the FCS teams that we have played have gotten at least a field goal. This game just made me ROFL for the whole duration, especially, since I have two cousins who attend, or have attended, Texas A&M. By the second quarter, I split my time watching the game and texting both of them, running my mouth. ThisĀ game was probably one of the best times Iā€™ve had inside the hallowed walls of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

On a real note, we needed a win like this. After our heartbreaking loss to Ole Miss, and a poor performance against Arkansas -- the worst team and state in the SEC West -- we needed to get our swagger back. For most of the season, and the last two games of last year, we have not seen the classic Alabama Crimson Tide domination that I have enjoyed since my freshman year, when the Tide rolled over LSU for the national championship in their own back yard of the New Orleans Superdome.

You could make the argument that our Florida game was a resurgence of classic Nick Saban era, Bama Tide football, but we played really sloppy with all of our turnovers. Florida should not have had those 21 points. Their offense is really poor. They only put up 10 points on a young, talentless Tennessee defense.

I could not be more proud of our players. Yeldon had a break out game, which is something we havenā€™t seen in a while. Both he and Derrick Henry ice skated through the Aggie defense, and sliced and diced them up for big gains and touchdowns. Sims played great. He had so many great throws, and some really great runs. Cooper was Cooper, and embarrassed anyone who attempted to cover him. I appreciate the Aggieā€™s defensive backs for their meager attempts. It was cute.

Besides the exceptional play from our players, the thing I was the most happy about was the attitude that the team had. It was nice to see them get their swagger back. After big hits and great plays, it was awesome to see the bench meet the guys on the field for air hips, chest bumps, and other cool celebrations. Also, kudos to the Bryant-Denny DJ for playing more rap music. It was really swag. Ā

Overall, it was a great game and atmosphere. If you didnā€™t go to the game, then I feel really bad for you. My sophomore year, I remember complaining to my parents that Alabama football wasnā€™t exciting to watch because we just demolished our opponents week in and week out,Ā with theĀ exceptions of Texas A&M beating us at home, and a last second touchdown screen pass thrown to Yeldon to squeak by LSU in Death Valley. This year, with all of our close games, I sincerely regret making that statement. Thank you Kirby Smart, Lane Kiffin, and St. Nick Saban for bringing our identity back. I will never doubt you, or the Bama Tide, ever again.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, Iā€™m sure youā€™ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the classā€™ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
