Great Games With Girls Wielding Knives
Lauren McKeever

I love gaming. I love girls. I love badass girls. I love badass girls wielding sharp objects, such as knives.

Below are 6 games (and their sequels) that showcase anything from girls wielding butcher knives and girls with kitchen knives stabbed into their heads, to girls ready to fight you with swords.
Some of these ladies are adults. Some of them are not. A few of them are ruthless, the others adorable. But all of them I adore, and I hope you will too.

American McGee's Alice & Alice: The Madness Returns

Alice and the Cheshire Cat

https://youtu.be/DpaNPMc3koU

In American McGee's Alice, the main chatacter Alice has survivors guilt from living through a house fire that killed both her parents. Because of this, her mind is corrupted. The player explores through the world she has created inside her head, 'Wonderland'. The basis is that if she can save wonderland, she can save herself from insanity.

Alice: The Madness Returns picks up where the first game left off. Alice is now living in an orphanage, where she escapes from her world to wonderland once more. However, wonderland is not what it used to be. It is rotting away, and Alice must undo the chaos she wrought from the first game in order to save Wonderland from collapsing.

These are action adventure platformer games. These psychological horror games succeed in being a macabre of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice' novel series.

If you want to watch American McGee's Alice, I recommend the playthrough by KrinxTV. If you want to watch Alice: The Madness Returns, I recommend the playthrough by TheRPGMinx.

The original game is available on PC, and the sequel is available on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

Agatha Knife

Agatha and her animals

https://youtu.be/2-wV8kFt2B4

Agatha Knife is a game about a 7-year-old butcher's daughter who wants her animal friends to not be sad before she slices them up, which she enjoys doing as often as possible. She's torn between her love for animal friends and her love for meat. She then goes on a quest to start the religious cult of 'Carnivorism' to make the animals excited to be slaughtered and sacrafice thier flesh willingly for eternal happiness. This also brings business back to her bankrupt shop competing with questionably sourced new burger joints.

This point and click game is full of dark humor and gorgeous, gruesome art. It pokes fun at religion and consumerism. And it has a 7-year-old who walks around with blue hair and a giant knife.

If you want to watch this game, I recommend TheRPGMinx's playthrough.

This game is available to on Steam, Switch, and Xbox One.

Sea of TheivesĀ

Sea of Thieves is an action adventure game with an open map to explore full of water, islands, and outposts. You play as a pirate sailing the seas, and you can do so solo, but the game shines best when played in co-op with up to four crew members. There is also PvP combat between other ships. Content includes following treasure maps to buried treasure chests, fighting other ships, avoid kraken, sailing through storms, and even capturing chickens. You can play musical instruments, get drunk, and try not to sink your ship, just like real pirates.

This game allows for the player to craft thier own story. It has beautiful cinematic views, and expansions are on the way for new quests. Plus, you have the option to play as a female pirate.

If you want to watch this game, I recommend this playlist by Muselk, ft. Crayator, Tydrodin, and BazzaGazza.

This game is available on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

10 Billion Wives & 20 Billion Wives

ONI Wife

https://youtu.be/Rl35Y-IokyE

10 Billion Wives is a clicker app very similar to Cookie Clicker. In it, you earn 'Love' which you can use to marry new wives. They will dash across your screen, and each gives you a certain amount of Love Per Second (LPS) that you can upgrade by giving them personalized gift upgrades. After all their gifts have been purchased, a secret illustration will be reveal for that wife. There is also a final illustration for those conpletionists that collect all the wives and individual illustrations.

In 10 Billion wives, there are 16 wives in total to collect. In 20 Billion Wives, there are 20 brand new wives for you, including my favorite wife from both games, DJ Wife. There is also a 10 Billion Husbands version for those interested.

These are cute clicker games to pass the time, and are very relaxing to play. This is a great game for a casual gamer. Note: These games will auto generate LPS for one hour after the app is closed.

For a sneak peak at gameplay, I recommend this video by Kongbakpao.

This app is available on Android and IOS devices.

So there are a few more badass females in video games for you all.

As my sister always says to me:

"How are you feeling tonight?"

"I'm feeling STABBY."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
