Major: Personal Finance, Certificate in French

Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio

Zodiac Sign: Cancer

Greek House: Sigma Chi

Hey Langdon, check out this week's Bachelor, Max!

Max’s best gal pals describe him as a cross of Ross Gellar from "Friends" and Schmidt from "New Girl." If he’s not making gains at the SERF, you’ll catch him on the third floor quiet hitting the books or rocking the dance floor at the KK. If you’re looking for a guy who's as cute as a kitten playing with string on YouTube and as manly as Captain America fighting crime, then Max is the guy for you.

What is your favorite thing about going to UW-Madison?

Everyone is super friendly and the social scene is wicked. The academics are all right too.

What made you decide to join Greek life on campus?

It was something I have always wanted to do since I was in high school, and transferring here after my freshman year gave me the opportunity to join something that is so prominent on our campus.

What is your dream job?

Working for the CIA as a field agent. I am basically a badass.

Current romantic situation?

Multiple platonic relationships (aka, single af).

What is the story of your first kiss?

I was a freshman in high school and she was a senior. I decided to go for it and ask her out on a bowling date and she said yes (surprisingly). After the date was over, she drove me back to my house (since I obviously couldn't drive at 15) and I invited her inside to watch "Hot Tub Time Machine." We were in my family room, and after a little while I made my move. It went swimmingly... until my Dad came in and completely killed the vibe.

Sorority you're most likely to be seen with?

AXO, of course.

Favorite study spot on campus?

Third floor quiet, because all of the eye-candy motivates me to study.

Celebrity crush?

Taylor Swift because she is not only gorgeous but "Love Story" changed my life when I was 13.

Chipotle or Qdoba?

Definitely Chipotle. I add everything possible and it is still under $7. I also steal the Tabasco sauce off the table when I leave, so that's an added bonus.

What superpower would you like to possess?

Read girls' minds, because I can't seem to figure them out.

Hidden talent?

Believe it or not, I am actually a pretty good cook. Chicken parmesan is my specialty.

Top three things to do before you die?

1. Own a panda

2. Go to Antarctica

3. Own a house on a secluded island

Biggest pet peeve?

Chewing with your mouth open. So if I take you on a date, I would prefer to not see your food as you're chewing it.

Rumor on the street is that girls take pictures of him as he walks up Bascom because his calves are so toned--get after it, ladies! ;) To find out more about Max, or to nominate a friend to be Bachelor/ette of the week, you can contact me at kdaniels4@wisc.edu!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
