I've never seen 'Bachelor In Paradise,' but that finale got me

In my entire 18 years that I've lived on this Earth, not once have I see a single episode of the "Bachelor"or "Bachelor in Paradise." My roommate, a hardcore fan, suddenly got me into it and I don't mind it one bit.

I've never seen 'Bachelor In Paradise,' but that finale got me

It was a slow Wednesday evening as I had just finished my last exam for the week (I had 3 back to back. Yes, I did lose my mental state in one week but that's not the point here) and I was on the phone with my best friend who goes to Northern Arizona University and we were just having a chill conversation.

Suddenly, I feel my eyes drawn to my roommate's laptop as she is hitting tables, snapping her fingers, and aww-ing at the finale episode of "Bachelor in Paradise." I have never had an interest in the Bachelor series, in fact, I have called it stupid in the past. I take all of that back because I was on my knees watching how cute these couples were. I was truly a hopeless romantic.

Dylan and Hannah G stole my heart. They are so cute? It should be illegal how cute they were. They are also going to be making some of the most attractive babies. We all know it. I died when she asked him to get her father's blessing and he said he would do it. Like oh my gosh, that is so fricken cute.

I can't handle that much love in one scene. I was literally eating my jacket trying not to scream from how cute their proposal was. So that was the first moment when I got drawn into this show. After that, I said bye to my friend, finished reading my book and grabbed a chair close up to my roommate and watched the rest of the finale with her.

Chris and Katie, I really wanted them to work but their relationship seemed so toxic and it made me so sad because apparently, Chris used to be player and it was amazing that he said he was finally in love. I really wanted them to work out because Katie was so cute and they looked so cute together. My heart hurt a little because I understood where Katie was coming from and she deserved so much more happiness.

Don't even get me started on Kristian and Demi because that shook my heart and I was so happy to see them thriving and living their best life together. Also, Derek is such a sweetheart. We need more Derek's in our lives.

The funny thing was, I've literally never seen a single episode of this show. To start watching it on the season finale was probably not a good decision but I thought that it was hilarious how invested I was. That's how the show gets you. It's one small thing that captivates you and you're sucked in for the rest of the ride. Am I going to watch the "Bachelor" now with Peter the pilot? Absolutely because why wouldn't I.

So thanks to my roommate, I now have a whole new addiction.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
