Baby On BOOB

If breast feeding is sexual, then a bottle should be seen as a dildo.

Baby On BOOB
Growing your baby

Maybe you have seen it before and maybe you haven't. A baby is crying because he/she is hungry. A mom sits on a bench, grabs out a blanket, and begins to feed her baby. People walk past and the looks aren't so friendly. People glare with crinkled eyebrows, many shake their head in disappointment and some even have the audacity to reprimand her for feeding her child.

These people refer to breast feeding in public as disgusting, gross and not appropriate. What really boggles my mind are the other things I witness on a daily basis that go without anyone saying anything. For instance, a woman can walk around with her nipple playing peek-a-boo all day and no one will say a word. However, as soon as a mom whips out her boob and uses it for its purpose, it isn't "sexy" anymore and that is the biggest reason why people are against it. When did being sexy become inferior to being natural and having a purpose?

On average, a newborn baby feeds every two to three hours. Even as they are growing, their frequent need for feeding is much higher than ours due to their tiny bellies and rapid digestive system. When a baby is crying nonstop and a mom feels her nipples leak, which can happen, she is just doing her job. She is taking care of her baby. Not only does breast feeding fill her baby's tiny belly up, but it helps with bonding. This is a time when baby recognizes mom's heartbeat and smell. They gain comfort from breast feeding. So, not only does it provide them with their nutrients it gives them love in the form of a nipple.

If a mom left her baby to cry because she was afraid to face your discrimination, what would happen? The people around her would then call her a bad parent or complain about why she hasn't done anything to fix the baby's behavior. They would maybe even yell at her to do something with it.. But, what is she to do when either way she is going to be judged? People cannot expect moms to sit at home all day because they are breast feeding. Does PDA still occur when out in public? Yes, do you tell them to go home and stay in their houses? No. If people want to bash on a mother for doing her job then it should be equal with every other behavior that is frowned upon in our society.

Some will say "Well, my kid will have to see that and I don't think they should." Listen, your kid sees the Victoria Secret models butt ass naked on the signs when walking through the mall. They are not going to feel uncomfortable when they see a mommy comforting her little one. Same thing with you, adults. Guys, I am 100 percent sure if she whipped out her tit to meet your needs, you wouldn't be complaining. For women, how dare you let another woman feel uncomfortable when we ourselves have the same parts and abilities. If you have truly never shown any cleavage then go ahead, but in the world we live in I know that's not even a plausible statement.

In all, I support breast feeding in public all the way. It is nothing short of beautiful, naturalYT and amazing. Moms, let it out, ignore the hateful comments. Those who are judging are staring way too long and have a problem with themselves. Therefore, treat yo-self and feed your baby!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
