If you're an avocado lover like me, you know how great this special food can really be. They're great for you, can be mixed into many different meals, and they taste absolutely amazing. They are very easy to eat as well because they can be bought at any time of the year and can be easily adapted into different meals or can even be eaten plain.

1. When going to restraunts, you order anything with avocados in it

You immediately flock to anything on the menu that involves avocados or guac. As long as that burger has avocados on it, it's healthy. Right?

2. You know how to pick out the best avocado in the grocery store

You could probably spend hours in the grocery store searching for the best avocado. It has to be ripe but not too ripe, hard but not too hard, and the perfect shade of greenish brown. Other shoppers standing by oddly question the length of time you spend standing at the section but you know you are making the best purchase possible.

3. Yes, you will pay the extra money to get your guacamole

If you go to Chipotle and they ask the infamous question "you know that the guac is extra right?", you just nod your head and ask for two servings please. What kind of monster doesn't pay the extra money for the guac?

4. Your name is often in your friends contact list with the avocado emoji attached

The avocado emoji is your best friend. It is also often how your friends distinguish you in their contacts. You also use it quiet often while texting, snapchatting, and when you take the perfect picture of the perfect avocado.

5. You can eat the an avocado plain right out of its shell

With just a little bit of salt or even lemon juice, avocados are great on their own. They are a great source of healthy fats and can complete any great diet. Have I mentioned that they also taste quiet amazing?

6. You know the perfect way to make guacamole

You have perfected your guacamole recipe and will gladly share it with anyone who asks (or not). It is often the item you bring to parties and serve to others. You also hardcore judge other restaurants guacamole recipes and how theirs tastes because it can never beat yours.

7. You own avocado merchandise

If you're a devoted lover, you probably own some sort of article of clothing that references avocados. Whether it be a hat or a tee shirt, you wear it everywhere and you wear it proudly.

8. You consider it a food group

If you incorporate into your meals daily, it probably has also become a part of the food pyramid.

9. You can come up with the best avocado puns

Your friends probably have become annoyed with how many avocado puns you use on a daily basis but you're proud of them. Why not make puns out of the food you love oh so much?

10. This gif makes you as happy as you could possibly be

Opening a perfect avocado can send chills down your spine. This is very satisfying and impossible to look away from. Also, look at the nails.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
