Is there anything better than getting the crew together and taking a trip to see your favorite hometown sport team? I'm sure there is, but for the sake of this article, there isn't. Whether it's basketball, football, baseball, hockey, or any other sport out there, being in attendance and experiencing the game live with thousands of other crazed fans like yourself is euphoric.
The moment you get your tickets:
Digging through your closet and finding that old jersey you thought you threw away:
Arriving at your friends house and see they're wearing the same jersey as you:
Playing pick-up games in the front yard to get in the proper mindset before the game:
In the car on the way to the game and that one friend says, "I don't think we're going to win tonight."
Finally arriving at the game and connecting with other fans who are just as crazy as you:
Having to wait in line to get in the game:
Getting to your seats and realize you're sitting next to that one annoying fan who constantly yells at the refs even though you're 55 rows up and they most certainly can't hear him:
The game begins!
Winning!
Losing...
Running to be the first in line at the concession stands:
The ref-hater next to you is now in full blown psycho mode:
Buying new gear during halftime:
Talking trash to fans of the opposing team:
When the game is winding down and your team is losing and all the fans are getting nervous but you're just like:
... but then you start to get nervous yourself ...
Ref-hater officially loses his mind:
Your team starts to come back and takes the lead:
VICTORY!
Celebrating with everyone, even the annoying referee critic you sat next to all game:
Leaving the game, and you run into those drunk fans of the opposing team:
Getting home and watching the highlights on t.v. saying, "remember that?" after every play:
Whether you hate, like or love sports, seeing a game live can be quite the experience, and seeing a game with some of your best friends can be a memory you hold for the rest of your life.
