For Business Majors, connection is the key. We are constantly trying to find the best connections for our jobs as well as references. As a recent graduate, I have found that the following apps are the best apps for every Business Major:

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a social media site, which allows individuals of similar backgrounds to connect. It is an app that is focused on business and job positions. It is great for on-the-go job searching as well as connecting with individuals in the same industry.

Keep

Keep is an app that helps you get things done throughout the day. It allows you to capture your thoughts in any format along with keeping you organized. This app can be accessed through SmartWatch, which is great with the listing program.

Google Doc

Google Doc is a program that allows you to edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint with others at the same time. It is very useful for storing information since it can be accessed through Google email Accounts. This is a great use for group projects or work assignments.

Evernote

Evernote allows you to stay organized as a whole - college, life, work. You are able to take better notes, clip web articles, scan, as well as use it as a planner.

TedTalk

TedTalk is an app that allows you to hear speakers from all around the world discuss topics varying from lifestyle to just truly inspirational. This app allows you to search videos based on what you would like to view in categories like funny, persuasive, beautiful, informative, and allows you to gain knowledge.

NYT

The New York Times allows you to stay up-to-date on the Worldly News as well as the Economic and Financial Status of our country. This app allows you to stay aware along with gaining knowledge of World Events.

Mint

Mint is an app that allows you as a consumer to keep your money in one place. In this app, you are able to track spending habits, manage money, create budgets, and check your credit score.
