You meet a lot of people in your life, countless numbers of them. Have you ever wondered how one of those people who you met turned out to be your best friend? Well, I didn't.
A best friend is someone who you can depend on, someone who will tell you your mistakes, and someone who will understand you personally and emotionally. There is no limit in this world to how much I can thank you for being the person who you are and for being the one friend who I can count on.
She has known me for some time now and she knows basically all of my life. It's as though I have a sister, a sister who I never thought I would ever have. I am glad that she is here with me now. It takes time to share your secrets with her but, after finding that one person, you will feel like a big weight is lifted off your shoulders. Your best friend is supposed to be the one person who you can trust.
You can talk about anything in the world, FaceTime, text endlessly, Snapchat each other, and it will feel like she is sitting right next to you. The one thing that makes a best friend relationship so miserable is the long distance. Not having your best friend next to you in your adventures, making memories, and acting silly is awful. Whenever you find that one person who is your best friend you should never let them go, or else you will never know how important they can become in your life.
Thank you, best friend, for letting me being myself around you. Without you in my life I wouldn't know who I am suppose to be and you teach me right from wrong. We have become the best of friends, we are basically sisters, sisters to the end. I would take care of you in college and make sure that nothing happened to you and you would do the same to me and I appreciate it a lot.
I don't believe that I ever told you that, but I do. I love you. No one can ever understand our friendship because we have gone through so many things together that I never want to lose you as a friend. We have gone from meeting each other on bid day, to becoming sorority sisters, to official roommates, to each others families and, basically, being a part of the family. I can't wait our future as best friends because I plan to have you as my maid of honor in my wedding and, when we are older, we are going to call each other and reminisce about the past because our past is going to be a great, funny, and memorable past.
If you have your best friend don't ever forget to thank them for being there for you and don't ever let anything get between you, especially being long distance from each other. Its unfair to be like that, not having your best friend near you, but you have to remember that they are only a phone call away.
