We have all gone through a night where no matter how hard you try, you just can't sleep. There is too much going on in our lives and it starts to creep into our subconscious which keeps us wired. Hopefully, the morning will come up soon and then we can get out lives together.

1. Did I do the reading for tomorrow?

giphy

Well, I better look up Sparks Notes on my way to class.

2. What does he mean by, “Whatever”?

giphy

Is he mad at me? Why isn't he responding?

3. It’s my senior year and I STILL don’t know what I’m doing

giphy

Am I even going to use my degree after I cross the stage?

4. Why is it so hot in here?

giphy

*throws blanket off* "Now I'm freezing!

5. Wait! *looks at clock* it’s 11:30...(assignment due at 11:59)

giphy

*Jumps out of bed and rushes to desk*

6. I should just drop out and work at a club

giphy

People will pay for almost anything.

7. What is *insert best friend* wearing for class?

giphy

I can't decide if I want to look good for the one class I'm going to, or bum it.

8. I shouldn’t have had that second Dunkin Donuts coffee

giphy

It was so worth it though...not. Just go to sleep!

9. I am 21 years old and am already planning the rest of my life

giphy

"So, if I wanna have my kid when I'm 35, I don't have to get pregnant until I'm 34. Which gives Prada four years to start making maternity clothes! Oh wait, but I do want to be married for a year before I get pregnant... so I don't have to get married until I'm 33! That's three years, that's three whole years—Oh, wait a minute though. I'll need a year and a half to plan the wedding, and I'd like to know the guy for a year, year and a half before we get engaged… Which means I need to meet the guy by the time I'm thirty." -Rachel Green, Friends

10. Crap! I have to call the Doctor's office in the morning

giphy

I can miss an appointment, right? I don't know why my 10 year old self wanted to become an adult so badly.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
