For people with anxiety:

There are many ways to maintain a sense of calm, helping yourself during an anxiety attack, or preventing one from occurring. It seems hard to remain calm but these are some tips that can help you next time you're worrying:

Remember that the situation is temporary and what seems like the end of the world isn’t. A person can make a pros and cons list. They can do deep breathing. To prevent anxiety, take a yoga class or go for a walk or a run. Listen to inspiring music or dance. Write down your thoughts and throw them away. Draw or color; coloring is supposed to be just as relaxing as taking a yoga class. Remind yourself to be patient and good things will come. Try to change your thought process and think positively. You can read a book or watch a movie. A person can watch Netflix. Someone could read a magazine or comic. You can pet a cat or dog. You can treat yourself to sweets or a spa day.

If your anxiety is getting really bad, talk to someone and take a few days off for yourself. Realize the situation may feel like the end of the world, but it isn’t. It is good to distract yourself sometimes from the situation. Sometimes to calm anxiety you must realize that you deserve to be treated better and that your anxiety is caused by low self esteem or vice-versa. You must realize that you should treat yourself better and sometimes anxiety is caused by how you treat yourself. So, if you were to treat yourself better, such as changing your diet to certain foods that don’t cause anxiety, will better yourself.

Sometimes hanging out with friends calms your anxiety, too, or accomplishing a lot will help you feel better about yourself. So make a list of things that will help you be accomplished. Or do some charity work that will make you feel fulfilled or relaxed. Making

jokes with your friends can help distract yourself, as well as playing video games. Dressing better can make you feel better and calm your anxiety. Shopping can calm down anxiety. Do something you find fun and distracting. Do things that make you happy but realize that the anxiety is just temporary. Sometimes its good to get out of your comfort zone and, although it may cause anxiety, once you accomplish it you’ll feel good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
