Dear Drivers Of Any Other Motorized Vehicle,

While walking home lately I have noticed that many of you feel the need to rev your engines. This revving makes a very loud noise. In case you weren't aware of the following things, I have decided to write you this letter to let you know what the majority opinion is of revving your engine.

1. It is obnoxious

The revving of a vehicle is ridiculous. The car becomes loud and interrupts what is already a calm and peaceful day. This loud sound is just obnoxious and no one wants to hear it. The world is trying to enjoy the outdoors. We don't want it interrupted by your obnoxiously loud and ridiculous car.

2. This wrecks your car

I am not a mechanic, nor do I have any knowledge about cars. But one does speculate that when you go from zero to whatever in just a few seconds, it cannot be good for your car. It is stupid to wreck a car just to show off with the idea that you are cool. As you will find out in the next point, you aren't cool.

3. It does not make you cool

As I stated previously, revving your engine is not cool. It is stupid. You are being ridiculous and obnoxious. The opposite gender doesn't find you any more attractive. You just seem ignorant and rude. Try using your personal voice, not the voice of a car.

4. It is dangerous

How is it dangerous you may ask? Well, some people don't always rev their engines while in park. Some do it while driving. This noise distracts the person and they forget that they are in a metal machine that can kill people when not being controlled properly. Be smart about your driving, especially in town. Don't rev your engine and this will not only keep you safe, but it will also keep those around you safe.

5. You are annoying so just stop

Revving your engine just makes you annoying. Like I said before, it is an obscene noise that no one wants to hear. It is an ignorant and rude noise to make and needs to stop. I am begging you, please just stop trying to "Show off." You are not making yourself look cool, just stupid.

In case you don't quite get the point of this article here it is: Revving your engine is not only obnoxious, but it is also dangerous. You aren't cool, just annoying. Grow up, stop revving your engines in town, and be safe.
