Dear New Friends,

If you've ever moved to a new city, you know how hard it is. Especially when you move to a new city, in a new state, where you haven't seen your new apartment in person, you don't have a job, and you don't know anybody. So, now that I'm finally getting settled, I'd like to say thank you.

Thank you to the new friends that have accepted me into their lives so quickly. Though it hasn't even been a month, you have allowed me to enter into your lives, your conversations, and your hangouts.

Moving can be lonely, and thankfully I have my husband to go through this with, but thank you for being there. You've told me about all the good places to eat and the fun things to do. You've offered to help when I'm in tough situations and I am forever grateful.

So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

If you are ever in a situation where you need a friend, you have one.
