To my fellow lovers of Andrew "Andy" Samberg, this one's for you.
Andy Samberg recently hosted the Emmys this past week, so hopefully you know who I am talking about, and if by some chance you do not, do some research for proceeding.
Andy has been flying pretty far under the radar recently, since his music group, The Lonely Island, stopped putting out new hits, but with his recent burst of popularity brought about by his incredible job hosting, I thought it was about time to pay my respects.
Let's start by taking a trip back in time to the good old days (2005), when Andy was just a fetus member of the SNL cast.
Would you look at this adorable dork. For an added bonus, take a peak at one of his first ever skits.
Before his television days, Andy helped found the music group, The Lonely Island. There hits include "Threw it on the Ground," and the always adored, "Mother Lover." Samberg showed off his polished rap "skills" on more than one occasion with some pretty famous features (I'm talking about you, Adam Levine).
And fake mustache.
Nowadays, Andy looks like a real adult and stars in the Fox show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Samberg in a badge is definitely a sight for sore eyes.
Now, Andy is famous, in my eyes at least, for being that type of good looking that you can't quite describe, because really it's his personality and sense of humor you find attractive.
Regardless, here's a string of pictures:
*Swoons*
The world needs to start appreciating Andy Samberg more. I mean, what's not to love? He's cute, funny, AND looks great in hipster glasses. I dream of a world where everyone has Andy Samberg written under their "Celebrity Crush" bullet point on an awkward ice breaker. Until then, I'll be here preaching about the 8th wonder of the world (Andy Samberg- if you hadn't realized yet). And before I forget, let's just forget the fact that Andy is happily married, and instead obsess over his adorable awkwardness.
**Another added bonus: probably the best skit Samberg ever starred in on SNL- take a look here.
