Losing at something is not always easy. It takes strength to realize you are limited in one thing or another. This in no way means to sit by and let it taught you though. You ultimately have a choice! Either give up entirely forget about all the work you have put into this learning process, or take a higher route to reach a new elevation of your capabilities. Your mind is the key. It provides you with the means to get the job done. Sure you didn't get it the first time around you came up to the plate. Let me ask you this, "how is the brain supposed to learn if you do not fail?" From as far back as time can go, the mind has always needed to acquire certain information, so that it may make adjustments necessary to completing each and every given task presented to it. It takes in every variable to the smallest most minuscule detail. Including the part when you failed. It is not inconceivable to reach the goals you wish to pursue. The only thing in your way though is your level of patience. The mind is a gift to behold, it can learn any new concept, make any kind of thoughts, take our favorite moments and put it to memory. The common factor is that in order to gain all of this you must give it time. For the longest time throughout my years in school the one thing people always whined about was math. "I can't get this", "it takes too long", "this is pointless." You want to know something? They were right. Math doesn't come instantly it needs to be developed and practiced over time. The subject of math is everywhere around us, so of course you won't understand it at first. The problem is you know this and believe it, but would rather ignore it so you don't have to deal with any more. Learning is life! Without it you are nothing more than a corpse ready to be barred ten feet below. It sucks undoubtedly for sure. Think of this though, "would it make as great as a story if you did just learn it instantly?" The best people in life came from failing at what they loved to do. They did it so much in made no sense to continue, because it is obviously not for them. Deep down though inside was this little voice calling out to each of them saying this, "we are almost there." At each point you don't succeed at something or can't reach a goal, there is improvement of some kind that the mind shows to us that we are making progress. You just have to pay attention and focus is all. Trust in your mind and you will further improve on your abilities. The body can fail but if everything is working well upstairs then you can still overcome.
