As of late, news stories are breaking all over the place about the current embroilment we are in. From the story of Michelle Fields to Milo being permanently banned from Twitter to the protests of the RNC in Cleveland.
Quite frankly, it's a heaping pile of a mess and we all just need to go home and think about nothing for the next few hours. However, elections are far too important to ignore.
I have observed everything on both sides of the aisle, including those that don't have a side (Libertarian Party). The one thing that stands out from this election so far have been the Alternate-Right Movement, or just simply the Alt-Right.
If you don't know what the Alt-Right is, then read this next paragraph. If you do know what the Alt-Right is, then skip this next paragraph.
The Alt-Right Movement is a movement that has been naturally created out of the internet, those that are on the outskirts of the Republican Party, and many that are a part of the Libertarian Party. The Alt-Right, however, is a bit hard to describe; but a more prominent example of the Alt-Right Movement is the social media site 4Chan. I can tell you personally that other sites such as Reddit and Vine are having a growth in support for the Alt-Right. Some have identified the Alt-Right as "white nationalists, supremacists, antisemitism," etc. However I, once again, can personally attest that those labels don't apply to the Alt-Right. The Alt-Right uses those terms merely to attack the political-correctness of the Left and its agenda.
To get to the point, the Alt-Right uses dank memes to destroy the Democrat Party.
How did the creation of the Alt-Right come about?
Well, ever since #GamerGate, the support of gamers have naturally swung towards the Right. To make matters worse for the Left, the aggressive rhetoric of Donald Trump have pushed Republicans to support the Alt-Right and has inspired many young Republicans and much of the internet culture to fight against the Democrat agenda. Recently, with the ban of Milo from Twitter, the Alt-Right has another justification to keep destroying and bashing in the Left.
To use the Left's own ideal: punishing a child is less efficient than other methods of learning. With the banning of Milo, metaphorically the Left has spanked the Alt-Right as punishment for its over-using of its freedom of speech. More of this will be discussed in Part 2.
As of any case, the Alt-Right is a growing movement that will not stop anytime soon. The more insults one hurls at it, the stronger it becomes. So the solution in a liberal's term would be that love trumps hate. Technically speaking, with Jack Dorsey's permanent ban on Milo was not love at all, it was hate.
Now, you may be saying "but Milo incited hate, it was a wise move!"
Well hold on there cowboy (or cowgirl), I will be answering that question in the next piece! We're just getting warmed up here.
To close, the Alt-Right Movement is technically the 'heartbeat of the internet.' They are the ones that are making new trends; such as 'cuck,' '#ripharambe,' and even pepe (will be discussed more in the next piece, I promise). Remember that AI bot that Microsoft made and putted it up on Twitter? Do you know why it was acting so negatively? It was because of the 'heartbeat' of the internet. Politically speaking, the majority of the country owns the heartbeat of its country. With a majority of trends coming out of the Alt-Right on the internet, it is safe to say that the Alt-Right owns the 'heartbeat' of the internet.
From my personal observation, the Alt-Right dominates the internet.
