"American Horror Story" is one of the biggest shows out. This season's "Hotel" theme has got everyone talking. There is a group of vampires in the state of California staying at Hotel Cortez, where they'll never check out. Lady Gaga stars as the lead blood-sucking actress, and she has been nothing but flawlessly horrifying. Along with Gaga there are many dark entities roaming the halls of the hotel that we are excited to get to know.
When the first episode aired, we all got the chills after seeing this guy:
Then Gaga came out in the main role. At first, I thought she was going to star in a small part, but she has been killing it. But I'm not gonna lie: I don't know if I'm a huge fan of the outfits so far, Gaga.
Next, you have the scene where things start to get a little weird with her boy toy ... and by weird I mean a little too bloody and intimate. But, hey, if you're into that sort of thing, Gaga ...
Then you have Sarah Paulson, who is simply always great at every role she plays. There are some actors whose performances you just can't get out of your head because that's how you know them. Paulson just gets you lost in her roles. She's playing an addict that lives at the hotel and is startlingly eerie.
But, let's be honest, what was this all about?
I would have to say my favorite character is one of the classics. He appeared last Wednesday, and I couldn't have been more excited and terrified at the same time. He just so happens to be some crazy cereal killer, but you still love him on the show. Evan Peters is the same kind of actor as Sarah Paulson. You just get caught up in his role so much that you believe it's true, and you feel sorry for the crazy guy. But I will point out that he strangely looks like Phil from the "Rugrats" in this season.
I will admit that even with as much as this season has me sucked in, I'm still a little bitter about Jessica Lange not being a part of it. The Queen will be forever missed.
But back to the important stuff: the screams and chills. The scariest part to me is the little children-vampires who are always running around. They remind me of the one scene in "The Shining," which makes me believe this classic scary movie has to have been an inspiration for the season "Hotel."
And on that note, I would say I'm a little too creeped out to keep thinking about it.
But yes, even with this show being so gory and gross, millions are still watching every week. It's addicting, so if you want to start watching, just be careful ...
... or you'll never be able to stop.
