It just happens to be everyone's favorite season of all, so I thought I would share the best part of the fall season as it sneaks up on us. Halloween. You may be wondering why Halloween is so great. Well, my friends, here's why.

1. Pumpkins

Pumpkin smells, pumpkin carving, pumpkin flavored stuff. You can get pumpkin spice everything nowadays.

2. Costumes

I don’t even mind spending $100 on all the Halloween costume elements. There’s no better feeling than slaying your Pinterest-worthy costume. Even if that means buying a $12 wig cap that continuously falls off your head. It's worth it.

3. Parties

Who doesn’t love a good Halloween party? Even the ones that your parents throw. They're all good. All of 'em.

4. Candy

I don’t think I really need to elaborate on this. Halloween is the one time of year that you can eat Dots and Snickers for breakfast without being judged.

5. The Children

If I had a dollar for every time I squealed with excitement at a cute kid in a fireman costume, I’d have a lot of money. Enough to buy more Halloween candy.

6. The Season

This is probably the most important reason of all. Halloween takes place during the best season of the year. Fall, Autumn, whatever you want to call it. It's glorious.

7. The Decorations

October 1^st. Also known as the day when your house becomes a pumpkin patch. If I could change all the lightbulbs in my house to those orange ones they sell around Halloween I would.

8. The Nostalgia

Every Halloween, it's fun to look back at previous Halloweens through pictures, memories, costumes, etc. Halloween only comes once a year and if you're really into it, you'll remember every Halloween down to every detail. And finally,

9. It's kinda almost Christmas

Enough said.
