9 Reasons Why You Are Excited For The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

It is almost that time of the year again! Everyone's favorite televised runway show was taped on Nov. 10 in New York City. If you are anything like me, you are obsessed with all things Victoria's Secret and cannot wait to see your favorite angels strut down the runway on Dec. 8 on CBS. The only question you have is, why do they tape it almost a month before they air it?!

1. All of the model's social media posts on the day of the show makes you feel like you were backstage with them.

Before taping began, you saw Behati Prinsloo working out to perfect her already flawless figure. During the show, models such as Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, and new angels Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid were posting photos from their experiences backstage. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time and it just raises the anticipation even more.

2. Snapchat even had its own story to cover the taping.

….And you were checking it all day. They even had a geofilter! Victoria’s Secret and VSPink also had stories featured on Snapchat on the day of the show. It was full of models greeting fans and asking each other questions like, “do you consider a hot dog a sandwich?"


3. The musical performances are solid: Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding.

All three performers looked amazing from what you have seen so far. You are excited to see them work the runway and hear Ellie sing a sexy rendition of "Love Me Like You Do."

4. Seeing women so confident about themselves is inspiring

It is easy to envy the bodies of the angels as they grace the runway. But, you also applaud them and strive for the confidence to walk in lingerie in front of the world.

5. You can’t wait to see the amazing, over-the-top wings.

6. The Fantasy Bra is mesmerizing.

Lily Aldrige had the honor to wear the 2 million dollar bra this year. It baffles you to see a bra that is worth that much money. But it is so sparkly!

7. You love to see who is out in the audience.

Of course Kris and Caitlyn Jenner were in attendance to support Kendall. Actor Kellan Lutz, Rapper Tyga, singer Austin Mahone, model Tyson Beckford and actor Nick Cannon are just some of the stars that rocked the pink carpet.

8. Victoria’s Secret stores are full of items pertaining to the show.

Someone PLEASE get me that wrap!
