With recruitment right around the corner, sophomore pledge classes in sororities everywhere are growing more and more eager to meet all of the potential new members coming through this year. If you're like me, a big part of that excitement comes from knowing that one of these many girls could be your future little! Here are 9 reasons to get excited about getting a little:
1. You're obsessed with your big.
You have already gotten to experience the bond between a big and a little first-hand, so just imagine what it will be like to add another sister to the family and have twice as much love!
2. She will be your little sister away from home.
For all the youngest children out there, your little will be like the little sister you never had. And for those of you who do have younger sisters, she'll be your sister away from home. Either way get excited because you're gaining a sister!
3. You have been crafting all summer for her.
Finally, after a long summer of slaving over canvases with paintbrush in hand, you will get to give your little all of your adorable crafts.
4. You have already picked out the perfect big/little reveal theme.
You can't wait to leave your little her clues as to who her big is. And, if you're sneaky, you have the perfect plan to try and trick her into thinking it's not you.
5. You will get to share all of the new experiences with her.
Whether it's setting her up with a date for her first date party, getting ready together for her first formal, or attending her first philanthropy event together, being by her side while she experiences everything for the first time will make for an unbreakable bond.
6. You will love showing her off.
You will be so excited to show off your perfect little any chance you get, whether it's in countless pictures you post all over social media or introducing her to all of your friends and family.
7. She will make you grow as a person.
With a little comes responsibility. She will look up to you, and you will want to be your best self for her.
