Sometimes, when Valentine’s Day rolls around, we may sit around and wonder, why? Why not me? Why am I alone drowning in calories from cheap wine and chocolates with flowers sent only by my mother? Well, this might be your answer.
1. You have no time. You are far too busy with more important things, such as school and hobbies, to be looking around for a Valentine just for one day. I mean, roses are red and violets are blue, but vodka costs less than dinner for two.
2. You are self-absorbed. You think you are too good to share your heart and give it to a significant other; you would rather spend the day honoring
yourself.
3. You are straight up awkward. You have absolutely no idea how to show
affection, and any attempt is perceived as a slur of words followed by immediate
regret.
4. You like your independence. You know that you have absolutely no problem
celebrating this day by yourself. You are perfectly content with a box of low-fat chocolates and a marathon of Grey's Anatomy. You have no interest in a
significant other because you want to do absolutely everything on your own.
5. You have no chill. You are all over the place, all the time. You are
the type of girl who is up on stage dancing like nobody is watching, or you are
the girl who is drunk off of bottomless mimosas before noon. You rely on no
one to have a good time and your chill is nowhere to be found.
6. You are too obsessed with your girlfriends. Valentine’s Day, to you, was a day meant to bust open a bottle of wine (or five) and host lingerie
parties with your favorite gal pals. You trash talk your exes and those who
actually have dates that night.
7. You didn’t get very many matches. Tinder was a bit slow this week.
8. You have your priorities straight. You might not be the most relatable person
to be around, and you may have some pretty odd interests, but honestly, Valentine's Day just isn't for you.
Better luck next year, ladies.
