Spring break is the one time in college when almost anything is acceptable. Well, that is what people tell themselves. This spring break you can look forward to encountering these various people -- unless you are one of them.
1. “Can I drink on pre-workout?”
This guy refuses to go unnoticed. You know who you are; you are the guy constantly trying to flex on the beach. Yes, I applaud you for having the dedication to go to the gym so often, but that does not make you the frattest guy on the beach. Thanks for the view, though!
2. “But, like, how many calories are in that?”
Once again, I applaud your dedication to maintaining that spring break body, but you have probably spent this whole semester preparing for spring break while the rest of us have only thought and laughed about our inabilities. Just remember, it is time to let loose and have fun. There is no need to count your calories on vacation!
3. “Back when I was in a fraternity.”
We have all met this guy! He is the only Key West civilian who finds joy in college spring break. It gives him the opportunity to reflect and -- let’s be real -- guys love him!
4. The Cougar
Like our previous friend, this girl just wants to have fun. She’s the single (maybe) older civilian who hates to miss the sight of the young, college guys that she misses. Also, like our previous guy, boys love her.
5. “Lets get drunk and get tattoos.”
There is always one in the bunch. You can bet one of your friends will have the idea of getting a tattoo, but why not? I cannot think of a better way to remind you of what you probably won’t remember.
6. “I still look trendy, right?”
This probably is not just one girl that you will meet. There is most likely a flock of basic sorority girls trying to be trendy in high waist shorts and kimonos on the beach. Even though no guy will ever understand the meaning behind this, at least girls will stay #trendy.
7. “How did she make it to the bar?”
Although she is probably someone you run into on a regular basis, this girl is the one who should not have gone back out at night. Props to her for trying, but she would have been better off still passed out on the beach. On the bright side, she provides a great photo opportunity.
8. You know him; you love him -- that one friend who is the highlight of the party.
