It is that time of year again. College spring breaks are in full swing. Whether it be Panama City, Padre or Cancun, they all attract the same types of people. They are filled with wild college students this time of year. You always go in groups of people from school or back home to your spring break destination. In each group of spring breakers, there are different types of people. All of these types are intricate parts of the perfect group and they somehow manage to mesh.

As you read this, there is going to be a person that pops into your mind for each of these. It is possible that if you cannot think of a person who fits these descriptions, then maybe that type is you. Maybe you are the wild one, the tamed one or the straight up weird one. It is likely every group has at least one of these if not multiple. So without further ado, here are your eight types of spring breakers.

1. The Mom

This one is of course a classic. Every group has the mom who keeps a watchful eye over all. One word to describe this person is responsible. They have everyone’s back at all times. They will make sure that you do not die while on your vacation. If you are the mom, you know that it sucks being the mom and it is annoying. The thing about being the mom though, is that you cannot help it. It simply comes natural to you. You do always have a bunch of funny stories though and people always “owe you one."

2. The Organizer

The organizer is not to be confused with the mom. The organizer is the one who plans your spring break trip. They get everything together and make sure people know the details. They are also the ones that concerned parents want to talk to because they actually have a clue as to what is going on. What is funny about the organizer is that often once they get to the destination, well there goes the organization. They did the work to get everyone there and so now they're ready to rage and forget their responsibilities.

3. The Constant Rager

You read this, and someone automatically comes to your mind. They are the ones who may be possibly partaking in consuming adult beverages before you even arrive at your destination. They are pumped. They are ready to rage. They may be responsible, but they may not. You know, as well as everyone else in your group, that you can count on them to be ready to start raging as soon as the day starts. They are all about taking advantage of every moment they have while on spring break. They may be viewed as slightly wild and possibly crazy.

4. The Wanderer

“Hey, have you seen_______?” The question of the night. You never know where this person is because they tend to wander around and often talk to random people that they find. They make “new friends” all the time and this is who they tend to wander off with. It does not matter that you could be over 1000 miles away from home, they do not think about that. They just go wherever the night takes them. Meanwhile, everyone else is wondering what the heck happened to them and the mom is about to go nuts calling their phone 100 times. The good thing is, they typically show back up at some point during the night. Then they make it seem like their location should have been obvious to you. You all should have known where they were. They were with new friend #1, #2 and #3. Duh.

5. The Surprise

This is the person who likely has not been on spring break previously. You have no idea what to expect out of them and how they will handle it all. Back home, they are really pretty chill, but when spring break comes around, they get a little cray. They are on a lot of people’s Snapchats because people think it is hilarious to see this person acting the way they are and they know that no one will believe this if you did not capture it via Snapchat. Picture or it didn’t happen.

6. The Creeper

This one often pertains to groups of guys a little more than it does the ladies, but some groups of girls have some undercover creepers in them too. This is the person that is always talking about or adoring the opposite sex. They approach a lot of members of the opposite sex throughout the day and try to strike up conversations. Strangers may think this person is a little odd, but you all know they just love the ladies (men). They are always on the prowl.

7. The Injury Prone

Sometimes you wonder how this person could possibly have done what they did. This person is the one who slices their foot open on a shell the size of a dime. They are often on the floor due to tripping and falling. For girls, this can be the girl who looks like a new born baby deer when they walk in heels. You know that this girl is going to end up on the ground multiple times that night. This person also may fall of balconies, slip on banana peels and anything else that you could think of. The next morning it is funny to reminisce on this persons stories from the previous night and examine all their new bumps and bruises.

8. The Daredevil

The daredevil does anything. You do not even have to play “what are the odds” or dare them to do something crazy. They will just do it. Sometimes this person scares the hell out of people but they are often hilarious. Many people ask themselves, “Who the hell does that? Like why?” There is never an answer to that question because even this persons friends do not exactly understand how this person’s brain works. They can occasionally be a mix of the injury prone friend as well.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
