8 Aesthetically Pleasing Pinterest Quotes For Your Week
Miss Caly

I think that one of my favorite things in the world is getting on my Pinterest and seeing motivational quotes. They're always really colorful, artsy, and it makes me wonder how someone ever came up with something so cute, yet motivational (in other words, aesthetically pleasing). Whatever this week throws your way, or even if you've just been going through a rough time, I'm hoping that these quotes can cheer you up and enlighten you, whatever you need for this week. Here are eight of my favorite quotes that I've seen this week, as told by Pinterest.

This one is so important! You never know the personal battle someone is facing at the moment. No matter how frustrated you may be and no matter the circumstance, you should always treat others with kindness. I know it's cliché, but it's definitely something to consider.

No matter how bad your day, week, or month may be, this quote is always reassuring because of the truth it holds. Trust and know that whatever you're going through right now (good or bad), something better is coming.

Okay, I hate salad, but I thoroughly enjoy this quote. You can't push yourself to your limit every day, so take a break and enjoy the sweet things in life! Remember to give yourself a break every once in a while so you can be rejuvenated and back to your full potential.

Let me translate: do more of what you love! Go on adventures, see new things, do things you've never done before. Go to that new coffee shop you've been wanting to check out and read that new book you've been considering for months. You only have so many days in your life, so spend them doing more than working your life away.

I enjoy this. I love naps, and Winnie the Pooh is actually the cutest. Naps are my life and I'd probably be super grumpy all of the time without them. Take Pooh's advice and rest up when you get the chance. If you aren't a napper, just lay in bed and relax - you deserve it!

Channel your inner selfishness and treat yo' self! Why are you holding back on getting that Starbucks drink that you've been wanting for a few days now? Who cares about the diet, take a cheat day and eat that cookie! Do things for yourself, not for others. I'm a huge advocate of that.

If September 15, 2016, was a bad day, just remember that September 16, 2016, is a brand new one! No day is just like the next. If you made a mistake, got into an argument, or even felt down in the dumps; it's important to remember that every day is a fresh start. Don't let a previous experience keep you from a potentially great, new one!

Finally, know that there is a great plan in store for you. Whether you are religious or not, this is great advice because it assures each and every one of us that we are where we are supposed to be. If ever we are not, you'll find yourself rerouted. Sometimes we may enjoy that and other times we may not. Wherever you're at in life, whether you're happy about it or not, know that this is all a part of life. It's unpredictable and sometimes surprising, but assure yourself that great things come with time and respect where you're at and where you will be.

Now that you have some cute motivational quotes to get you through the week, go out and live your life the way you want to! If it helps, save your favorite quote from above and set it as your lock screen as a precious reminder throughout the week. You can do this, go get 'em!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
