Finals week is quickly approaching! For most college students, this means long nights at the library filled with studying for exams and writing papers. When you get the feeling like your eyes may become permanently damaged from looking at your computer screen for too long, there are so many great ways to de-stress for a little while and get your mind out of the books!
1. Go for a walk with your roommates.
This will serve as a great way to get your mind off of your studies and to bond with your roomies before heading home for winter break!
2. Make a cup of tea.
Drinking tea is good for alleviating stress and it will keep you warm during those long nights.
3. Give yourself a manicure.
This is a very soothing activity that will give you amazing nails while you type out all of those papers and study guides.
4. Go to the gym.
Physical activity is a great way to reduce stress! Even try a fitness class you've never thought of trying before.
5. Make lists.
Making to-do lists will help you keep your priorities straight and it will help you think about everything that needs to be done so you can manage your time better.
6. Watch a Christmas movie.
Not only will you be able to get your mind off your work for a few hours, but you will also be able to get into the holiday spirit!
7. Listen to relaxing music.
There are so many great study playlists that can help you focus on your work and not be distracted.
Best of luck during finals week!
