Let's be honest, the fashion of the '90s was pretty awesome. So awesome that it's finally making a comeback. It's one of my favorite eras of fashion and I am personally very excited that it is coming back seeing as the first time it was popular I was just a baby. There were plenty of trends that were big and I couldn't write about them all, but these ones have officially made their comeback and are here to stay for awhile.

1. Flannels

In all honesty, flannels never really went out of style. They just seem to get more popular and they're versatile. Wear one with some jeans with boots or wear it around your waist so you have a jacket with you. If you're looking to add a staple piece to your wardrobe that will last awhile, then definitely invest in a few flannels.

2. Doc Martens

Just like flannels, Doc Martens haven't really gone out of style. In fact they're probably more popular than ever. It's the easiest way to state your style as street or punk and they go with everything. You can even get them in various patterns and colors and they're supposed to be really comfortable.

3. Crop Tops

Cropped anything was really big '90s whether it was jackets or shirts everyone was wearing it. Crops tops come in various forms and they're not as big as they were a year ago but they're still very popular in most people's closets. It's an easy staple and come in literally any cut or style that you could think of. My favorite way to wear crop tops is with high waisted jeans or shorts but it looks just as good.

4. Scrunchies

This is one of the comebacks that I am super happy about. Scrunchies are an easy way to put your hair up without putting a dent in your hair. It also looks so much cuter around your wrist than a regular hair tie. As most things in fashion they come in various patterns so you can easily match it to your outfit.

5. Turtlenecks

Turtlenecks are kind of an odd fashion comeback since they're so uncomfortable. However, they look really great if you're trying to dress something up or make your look super retro. I am a personal fan of the sweater material because I don't feel like I'm choking in it but all styles are super cute and I think this is going to be around for awhile.

6. Button Up Skirts

Other than flannels this is probably my favorite trend that is coming back. Button up skirts are super in right now and you can wear them for anything. My favorite ones are the jean skirts because they match everything but I also like the uniqueness of other styles because they're easy to wear for fun events such as a costume party.

7. Timberland Boots

I know this is a favorite for a lot of people. These boots were huge in the '90s and then they weren't around unless you wore them for work. Now they're a fashion favorite in some people's closets. It's very common to see people wear them with flannels and leggings or with some jean shorts. Like most fashion trends it's very easy to match them to most outfits.

I'm not sure how many people actually want these styles to stick around but I am a personal fan of them. I want them to stay for awhile and even if they do go out of style, who says you have to wear what's in style. You do you and wear what makes you feel and look good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
