If you haven’t taken the Myers--Briggs personality test, it is something that you should do. I have found that by knowing my personality type, I was able to avoid some things that made life harder for me. Out of the 16 personalities types ranging from introverted to extroverted, I fall into the category of INFP, a more introverted personality type.
1. We are poets and writers
2. We often go into hermit mode and it may be hard to get us back out.
3. We seek harmony, there is a reason we are known as mediators. When the going gets tough in a group, we try our best to resolve the hard feelings.
4. We are dedicated and hard workers. We can't fake it! Our passionate nature doesn't allow us to give up until we achieve our goals.
5. We give too much. We often feel selfish when we say no, or can't give more to something, resulting in spreading ourselves way too thin.
6. We take things personally.
7. We can fall into many careers but in general, we find the most joy in positions where our passionate natures can be expressed, for me that is in writing.
