Hey, America is great. The best country in the world. America, I'mma let you finish but let's just look at the British Royal Family.

They are always in the news, somehow, someway. Whether it's a legacy of Princess Diana, Will and Kate pregnant again, or the new engagement between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Let's take a look back at history to see all the times where we've been swept off our feet by the Royal Family.

1. Princess Diana and Prince Charles's wedding in the '80s.

Even though this marriage ended in divorce, and the Royals basically shunning Lady D, their wedding was one for the books and for sure a party. D's dress was the best dress of that year!

2. Diana with her two sons Prince Will and Harry.

Going off number one, Diana loved her children and gave them everything. She taught them to be humble in the spotlight. Her legacy still lives on within her two sons and I think that's the most beautiful thing ever.

3. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip

If you haven't watched "The Crown" on Netflix, stop what you're doing and go do it. If you're obsessed with the Royal Fam like me, then you need to watch it. I absolutely fell in love with the Queen and Phillip's love story. They are absolutely adorable and to think they are still together today... it's just magical.

4. Prince William and family

Their family is like the cover of a Hallmark card. George and Charlotte (and third baby that has no pictures yet) are the definitions of a perfect family. Will and Kate, two soulmates who are meant for each other, truly created a picture-perfect family.

5. Will and Kate

College sweethearts and now proud parents of three (maybe four) children. They've truly grown in their years together and their years apart. If you haven't read the book written by People reporters about their lives together and apart, I highly recommend you do!

6. Harry.

Before I get to his engagement, I have to devote one to just the "ginger prince" himself. He's my fav ginger prince around. He's humble, just like what his mother raised him to be. He's a soldier first. He cares about the world around him by working through his mother's charities in Africa and just loves spending time with his family and friends.

7. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

A living, breathing story of Princess Diaries. I couldn't think of a better match made in heaven (other than Queen and Phillip, of course). An American being swept off her feet by the dreamy Prince Harry...it's a love story brought to life. While a quick wedding in this spring is stressful, we surely can't wait.

I'm almost expecting an invite to the wedding, because, you know, Meghan IS a Kappa...

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
