Spring Break was sweet but way too short. With just enough time to recuperate from finals (or midterms) from before break and get a taste of what a week free of schoolwork feels likes, the feels are just way too real once school starts up again. Here’s a list of a student's typical thought processes during the first week of school.
1. Keeping up with readings
No way am I going to put off all my readings until finals week like last time...or at least that's what you'll tell yourself.
2. Staying healthy
New quarter, new me! I'm going to the gym everyday and only eating locally grown, organic foods!!! I mean, look how happy they look. It's like Elle Woods says "Exercise gives you endorphins.Endorphins make you happy."
3. Why am I tired?
Literally why? I've done nothing, NOTHING all week and we JUST ended break. Is it too early in the quarter to nap, because I think that that's gonna have to happen sometime in my near future.
4. "It's only syllabus week"
Week 1 = turn up, right?
5. Focusing on your beauty rest
I'm getting a MINIMUM of 8 hours a night, folks, no question about it.
6. Seriously consider dropping out of school
For all we know I could be the next Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg...or I guess ending up selling oranges by the side of the freeway is a potential outcome too.
I couldn't find a good picture so let's just enjoy these nuggets instead.
