7 Thoughts You Have While' Watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians'

Possibly one of the most well known families in the world, the Kardashians give us a glimpse of their glamorous and dramatic life on their show. Keeping Up With the Kardashians gives viewers a peak at the daily activities of all the Kardashian's and Jenner's lives — including Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, and more. This show makes me feel many different types of ways, yet it always finds a way to be addictive and intriguing. These are some of the thoughts I have while watching KUWTK:

1. "I love that ___."

If there's one thing the Kardashians know, it's fashion. I don't think I've watched an episode of "KUWTK" without obsessing over a dress Kim wore or a pair of Khloe's shoes. Even down to their workout attire, the Kardashians know how to dress and certainly have the funds to do so.

2. "Are they ever not on their phones..."

A noticeable amount of showtime portrays the Kardashians on their phones. I always wonder what Instagram picture they're looking at, who they're texting, or what games they're playing on their phones. Obviously, they're busy people, but some face-to-face interaction wouldn't hurt.

3. "They all have the nicest bodies."

While they may not be all authentic, it's plain to see that every Kardashian has a banging body. Maybe if I had a personal trainer and chef I would too, but regardless they work hard to earn a perfect physique.

4. "The amount of hate they get is unreal."

If you basically publicize your whole life and leave little for imagination, it's not hard to have people who will hate you. I agree that some parts of the show are over-exaggerated and unnecessarily dramatic, but they're displaying their whole life on TV and don't deserve all the hate.

5. "What are they eating?"

With personal chefs and tons of healthy recipes, I'm always wondering what food they eat. They're all skinny and healthy and they clearly care about nurturing their bodies.

6. "How are they okay with publicizing their entire life?"

Reality TV leaves little room for secrets. I put myself in their positions and cringe at the thought of having the world practically live my life with me. It takes a lot of courage and confidence to share your entire life with the world.

7. "I wonder how much they make per minute..."

Everyone knows the Kardashians are loaded; You can tell by the six Cartier bracelets on each of their wrists. I guess publicizing your life does come with a prize, just about enough money to make everyone watching envy your life.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
