1. What are you going to do with your life?
I am literally just a fully grown child. I think I have an idea, but I also have no idea, but I'm also like 100% confident in my idea. Sooo yeah. What are you going to do with your life?
2. Where are you going to college?
I really don't have no clue. Many of my schools don't let me know until April, so if you would please stop asking me every time I see you, maybe I can stop stressing out.
3. You should totally go to (insert college).
"I had so much fun there!" "It has such a great ______ program." "This school has the best food options." "That college has great greek life." Okay, thank you for making every single college on the planet sound amazing. I'm totally not more confused on where to go now.
4. So what are you and your boyfriend/girlfriend going to do when you go to separate schools?
This is 100% my personal business, and it doesn't affect you at all. Whether we stay together or break up or whatever we do, you don't need to be involved or informed.
5. It's going to be so hard to get a job with that degree.
Well, actually, you don't have a degree in that, so you can't tell me what opportunities it allows. Plus a college degree is better than no degree.
6. You better mention me in your speech at graduation.
I'm only allotted a certain number of minutes, and I don't have time to individually mention every single person I've ever encountered. Sorry.
7. So how are you going to pay off your student loans?
Let's just focusing on graduating first, okay?
No matter if you have plans or not, I think all of us high school seniors can agree on one thing:
